Evolved from the Rev seat, the Sparco Evo was designed and developed in co-operation with the most prestigious Sparco drivers of the DTM and ITC Championships. Designed specially for a free driving position, even in extreme competition conditions. The special shape of the shell and the new construction technology which sandwiches carbon-kevlar-carbon, have given increased rigidity for excellent driving sensibility (while keeping the weight extremely low). Films of homologation crash tests confirm the Evo's first place in the rigidity/resistance ratio.

Standard fiberglass body composition or available in Carbon Fiber! The Sparco EVO Racing Seats accomodate sidemount brackets only.

Sparco Evo Features:

  • Cushions and back can be customized in various colors.
  • Back and cushions can be removed to customize the back rest, height of the leg rest and the cushion padding.

The Sparco EVO is FIA Approved for race cars that require a FIA Homologated Racing Seat

FLAT BRACKET

* Before attempting installation verify that you have all the correct and necessary part numbers for your
application. In addition to your vehicle specific bases you will also need part numbers 00493 (sliding
tracks), 500 (base adapter) and 50001 (hardware kit), one each will be needed per seat. We make seat
bases for many applications however this does not guarantee that every model Sparco seat will fit in a
particular vehicle. Please take the necessary measurements to ensure fitment prior to installation.
1. Remove existing seat assembly from vehicle. Retain bolts that fastened the original seat to the
floor, they will be reused.
2. If you will be using the stock seat belt and the receiver is attached to the stock seat, remove it and
save the fastener(s) and related parts for reinstallation onto the Sparco base. In some cases you
will have to source a nut for the stock seat belt receiver bolt to reuse it.
*Assembly (note the diagram shows a driver side base assembly facing forward)
3. If you are going to use the stock seat belt, attach the stock seat belt receiver to the base using the
original hardware.
4. Attach the tab brackets to the flat (bottom) side of the sliding tracks using the four 8mm hex
socket bolts (tapered Allen head) and four 8mm locking nuts supplied in the 500 kit. These allow
attachment of the slider to the base and allows an up/down adjustment (driver preference).
Tighten hardware all the way.
5. Next attach the seat adapter to the raised (top) side of the sliding tracks. First remove the nuts from
the captured bolts located on each end of the seat adapters. Then insert the captured bolt into the bolt
holes at the end of each sliding track and fasten it with the nut that was removed. Tighten hardware all
the way.
*Tip: When installing the sliding track work on the front mounting holes first. Pull up on the release
lever and slide the lower portion of the sliding track out to expose the mounting hole. Install the
hardware as shown. Mount the tab brackets on the front and rear of the sliding tracks using this
method. Repeat the process but expose the mounting holes on the top half of the sliding tracks to
mount the seat adapters. Be sure when sliding the tracks back and forth that both tracks are at the
exact same locking point/length or the sliders may bind later. This will result in the sliding track not
sliding smoothly.
6. Line up tab brackets with the tubular section of the base in the desired position. Fasten the tab
brackets to the base using the four hex head bolts found in the 500 kit. Leave hardware loose until
final fitment. The base assembly is now complete.
*Tip: If the preferred setting of the height adjustment is the low setting and the tab bracket interferes
with the floor or base it may be required to trim/cut the excess.
7. Line up the slotted holes in the seat adapters with the mounting holes in the bottom of the seat
and fasten the new base assembly using the button head bolt found in the 500 kit (leave loose).
8. The finished seat assembly is now ready for test fit. Make sure the seat has all the proper
alignment and clearances preferred by the driver and make marks if necessary. Remove the seat assembly
and tighten down all loose hardware.
7. Attach the “U” shaped sliding track release handle to each release leaver. The handle is slightly
bent downward to maximize the upward travel. Be sure to install the handle so it slopes
downward. Push the handle all the way down onto the levers.
* Tip: It may be necessary to tap the handle with a rubber mallet in order to get it completely seated.
8. Install the completed seat assembly to the floor of the vehicle using the original hardware.
*Tip: The sliding tracks may require some breaking however if they are difficult to move or binding
loosen sliding track hardware while the seat assemble is still bolted to the car and slide the unit all the
way back and forth a few times to center and realign the tracks. Then retighten.
