New for 2007, the M-4 is an aggressively styled, multi-featured, full-ventilation helmet with an extra large eyeport. The M4 can be used in all forms of racing.
In addition, the M-4 features Bell's new SRV friction shield system. This new system has a slide mechanism that allows the driver to adjust the tension on the shield allowing for multiple opening positions. When properly adjusted and in the locked position, the SRV systems helps reduce the possibility of the shield opening during an impact.
Fiber-Tech Shells - Bell combines hand-laid lamination and thermo-set resin to create a strong, standard-weight shell in their Racer Series helmets. They use powder coat instead of gell coat as a mold release to further reduce weight.
Bell’s E-Max inner liner maximizes energy management through a state-of-the-art molding process
Comfortable Carbon X Interior is featured on all Bell SA 2005 helmets. Carbon X has outstanding flame retardant properties and allows perspiration to evaporate from the skin for increased cooling. The interior will dry more quickly after use, is very durable and resists pilling.
