In addition, the M3 featureS Bell's new SRV friction shield system. This new system has a slide mechanism that allows the driver to adjust the tension on the shield allowing for multiple opening positions. When properly adjusted and in the locked position, the SRV system helps reduce the possibility of the shield opening during an impact. The European style M3 is the result of experience gained from Bell's European Formula I trackside program. This feature- packed lightweight helmet includes, top, front vents and adjustable forehead vents to keep you cool. A .125" faceshield and Kevlar® chin strap add to your protection.
